Cloud security is our highest priority at AWS. As an AWS customer, you benefit from an environment built to meet the requirements of the most security-sensitive organizations. As an AWS Security team member, you will help secure that environment for our customers while working on security products across a wide variety of platforms and technologies, all operating at AWS' scale.

We are seeking an experienced Security Industry Specialist to help drive our global Hardware Supply Chain Security program, with emphasis on mitigating risk across the entire hardware lifecycle, through third-party suppliers and AWS operations. You will work with a team of professionals around the world to assess and mitigate risks in Amazon manufacturing operation and logistics, conduct and coordinate on-site security assessments, contribute to new mechanisms for defense and response, and analyze the ever-shifting threat landscape to help us prioritize continuous improvement. This holistic view of risk spans hardware/firmware, manufacturing networks and systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC) and image source control, physical facility and transport security, and the people and procedures that make up the global hardware supply chain. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead technical internal and external engagements to document business requirements and operational challenges, and identify security risk
- Manage the schedule and logistical coordination for on-site security assessments around the world
- Assess and prioritize security findings and recommend appropriate mitigations
- Analyze data and deliver insightful written documentation of technical solutions to cross-functional teams and leaders
- Partner with suppliers to address security findings and continually improve supply chain security
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different geographies and cultures
- Drive resolution of complex escalations and security findings where problems and solutions may not be clearly defined
- Travel 60% or more to conduct assessments, educate partners, and support key business relationships
- Mentor! Learn! Constantly develop your own skills and guide others to improve their own

A day in the life
In this role, you will assess risks to AWS originating at suppliers and own the specification and shepherding of security requirements for hardware/firmware lifecycle processes. You will work with fellow security professionals from across Amazon as well as supplier and data center operations teams to keep the AWS supply chain secure. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members — we have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Are you a customer-obsessed builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential? Do you have the business savvy, deep data background, and technical sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers across Asia Pacific, Japan and China? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses, and helping customers turn their data into the foundation that powers AI in production? Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Data & AI team as a Sr. Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist for Data.

This role owns the AWS data go-to-market across APJC with a primary focus on helping customers run agentic and AI workloads in production, working hand-in-hand with the AI team to turn AI pilots into production reality. Data is the context layer that turns generic AI into personalised, differentiated outcomes; every AI conversation is a data conversation, and this role sits at the centre of it. To run these workloads in production, customers need the right context layer with the right level of governance, which means getting the metadata right. It is truly about getting the right data to the right people and agents at the right time. That starts with strong foundations, helping customers build and modernise the underlying data estate (the data stores, pipelines, and data engineering) that the context layer is built on and doing it in a way that makes it simple for customers, removing complexity rather than adding it. You will span AWS's storage, analytics, and database portfolio, partnering with the AI team, account teams, and partners on some of APJC's largest customers and most strategic deals. You will also be the voice of APJC back to the service teams, carrying the needs of APJC customers to our data service teams to help reshape our service and roadmap strategy.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) and acts as the force multiplier for AWS. We are the deep domain experts, in this case, in data — who are brought in to support customers and our sales teams when they need to unblock or accelerate a customer. We work backwards from our customers' most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for AWS Data (storage, analytics, database) across APJC, across all segments.
- Get customers ready to run agentic and AI workloads in production — partner with the AI team to build the context layer, governance, and metadata that gets the right data to the right people and agents at the right time.
- Help customers build and modernise the foundational data estate — data stores, pipelines, and data engineering beneath the context layer — making it easy by removing complexity.
- Serve as the APJC point of contact for all data motions — the connective tissue between the AI team, Specialists, Specialist SAs, Partners, and the area teams carrying data quota.
- Lead engagement on APJC's largest and most strategic deals with the AI team, account, commercial/deal, and partner teams, and design Scale Sales Motions using Field teams, partner channels, and funding levers to unblock deals.
- Be the voice of APJC to the data service teams — feed customer needs, adoption signals, and competitive gaps back to product leadership to reshape roadmap strategy.
- Engage at CxO/VP level and with developers and architects to build pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive revenue, and host executive briefings and workshops.

A day in the life
You are the person the field, partners, and customers come to for anything data in APJC. One day you're with the AI team in a CxO briefing making the case for the governed data foundation a customer needs to move an agentic workload into production; the next you're helping an account team stand up the right metadata and governance so agents can access the right data safely, unblocking a stalled deal with the right partner funding lever, or feeding APJC customer signal back to the service teams to shape the roadmap. You operate across the APJC areas and every segment, building the strategy and executing it, measuring success by the collective growth of the APJC data business.

About the team
The WWSO Data & AI team helps customers adopt our newest and most advantageous technologies. We are technology specialists. This role sits on the APJC Data GTM team, working as an integrated unit with the AI team, account teams, Specialist SAs, and partner teams to drive data adoption across APJC. We believe in a collaborative working model where BD, Sales Specialists, and Specialist SAs operate in concert, each bringing unique strengths to deliver customer outcomes. We value individuals who are not only strong strategists but also effective communicators who can bridge the gap between local market needs and global organizational priorities. If you thrive where you build the strategy AND execute it, where you influence across organizational boundaries, and where you measure success by the collective growth of the team, this is the role for you.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we're looking for talented people who want to help.

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is looking for an experienced Program Manager to own and drive complex operational programs across our transportation, warehousing, and customs brokerage functions. In this role, you will take ownership of our hardest cross-functional problems: the ones that span multiple modes, geographies, and partner ecosystems, resist simple fixes, and require someone who can diagnose root causes, build solutions from scratch, and drive execution with minimal direction.

This is a high-visibility role that demands equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving. You will operate across the full breadth of ACL's logistics network, identifying systemic failures, standing up new operational frameworks, and driving accountability across internal teams and external partners (carriers, freight forwarders, warehouse operators, customs brokers). You will define what good looks like, build the mechanisms to sustain it, and report progress to senior leadership with clarity and precision.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in physical logistics (transportation, warehousing, or trade compliance), a track record of solving highly ambiguous, multi-variable problems, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment where the playbook doesn't exist yet. You are comfortable inheriting broken processes, diagnosing why they're broken, and building durable fixes that scale. You bring structure to chaos and thrive when the path forward isn't obvious.

Key job responsibilities
Own the strategy and execution for onboarding new programs into the ACL network — from intake through go-live — ensuring all stakeholders (suppliers, logistics partners, internal teams) are enabled for success.

Establish and own onboarding reporting cadences (WBR/MBR/QBR), providing executive-level visibility on supplier readiness, pipeline health, enablement metrics, and program performance.

Define and continuously improve the end-to-end onboarding process — including intake frameworks, milestone tracking, SLA definition, and stakeholder communication standards.

Serve as the primary point of contact for new program requests, working cross-functionally with procurement, global supply management, warehousing operations, and systems teams to assess scope, resource requirements, and timelines.

Lead cross-functional coordination across internal teams and external partners (carriers, LSPs, suppliers) to resolve onboarding blockers, drive accountability, and ensure commitments are met.

Build scalable playbooks and documentation that enable the team to onboard suppliers and programs at increasing volume without proportional headcount growth.

Partner with systems and technology teams to identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort in supplier enablement, agreement tracking, and status reporting.

Work in a team of onboarding specialists, establishing clear operating models including escalation frameworks and coverage rotations.
Identify and drive strategic improvements to the onboarding lifecycle — feeding lessons learned from current programs into process refinements for future waves.

A day in the life
Assess onboarding pipeline health and identify bottlenecks — triaging stuck suppliers, escalating blockers with external partners, and re-prioritizing work based on business urgency and program launch timelines.

Coordinate across procurement, operations, warehousing, and systems teams to unblock supplier enablement — whether that's chasing a legal agreement, pushing a systems configuration, or aligning on a go-live date.

Develop and refine onboarding playbooks that standardize how we take a supplier from "new request" to "first shipment" — identifying gaps in the process and proposing scalable solutions to senior leadership.

Pull data from internal systems (booking portal, vendor service, shipment databases) to build a consolidated view of supplier readiness and report progress to leadership in WBR/MBR formats.

Lead stakeholder meetings with logistics service providers, suppliers, and internal teams — setting expectations, tracking commitments, and driving accountability for onboarding milestones.

Identify patterns in onboarding cycle times, failure points, and supplier compliance data to propose process improvements that reduce time-to-enable and improve supplier experience.

Partner with technology teams to translate manual processes into automated workflows — finding opportunities to eliminate repetitive coordination and create self-service capabilities for internal customers.

About the team
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, high-impact team. AWS Cloud Logistics manages a continuously evolving portfolio of shipments and warehousing operations through a worldwide supply chain. We deliver the right product at the right time, cost, and place — ensuring our AWS supply chain is reliable, scalable, and cost-optimized. The onboarding function is critical to how we grow: every new supplier, warehouse, and program depends on our team to enable them for success.
