Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented commercial real estate lawyer to fill the position of Legal Counsel supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the "cloud" computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more. <br/><br/>As part of the AWS legal team, you will be responsible for supporting AWS's worldwide data center expansion through land acquisitions, leases, zoning entitlement work and serviced licenses. You will have transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on deals, and will provide legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis. Transactions range from standard contracts to complex, bespoke, high value agreements. You will structure, draft and negotiate agreements and leases, help support AWS's existing portfolio, manage outside counsel, and advise internal business clients. In addition, you will help develop, implement, and manage process improvements across the team, resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. <br/><br/>The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.<br/>

We are looking for a smart and self-motivated individual to provide administrative assistance to our Amazon Web Services Sales & Marketing Legal team in the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence to business teams, coordinating the execution of agreements, maintaining legal contracts, preparing status reports, improving processes, performing general office tasks (such as calendaring, filing, and budget tracking), and coordinating other legal and administrative matters with business groups.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>• Coordinate end-to-end execution of commercial agreements across the APJ region, including tracking signature workflows and maintaining contract databases<br/>• Draft and send routine correspondence to business teams regarding contract status, next steps, and outstanding items<br/>• Maintain and organize legal contract repositories, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable<br/>• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports on contract pipeline, open matters, and team workload<br/>• Manage calendaring, scheduling, and logistics for the legal team<br/>• Track and reconcile team budget and vendor invoices<br/>• Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency<br/>• Coordinate with business groups on administrative and legal matters, serving as a reliable point of contact<br/>

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with strong expertise in music publishing and copyright licensing to join Spotify’s Legal Licensing team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Business Affairs, Finance, and Product teams to structure, negotiate, and draft complex licensing agreements with CMOs and music publishers. You’ll play a key role in shaping the legal frameworks that govern how musical works are used across Spotify’s service in APAC, helping enable innovation while supporting rights holders and creators.
