This is not a typical frontend role. The product is a professional-grade, canvas-based creative editor — closer to Photoshop or Figma in complexity than a web application with forms and tables.<br/><br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>- Design and build a high-performance, browser-based creative editor with multi-layer canvas compositing, real-time image manipulation, and GPU-accelerated rendering for professional-grade creative workflows.<br/>- Architect and optimize rendering pipelines for complex layer stacks, handling high-resolution assets, blend modes, masking, and non-destructive editing with fluid performance.<br/>- Integrate AI/ML model outputs into interactive UI workflows, enabling users to generate, edit, and compose visual content through intuitive creative controls.<br/>- Implement production file export capabilities (including PSD with preserved layer structure) and asset management features that serve downstream creative teams.<br/>- Collaborate with backend engineers, applied scientists, and product managers to deliver on our product roadmap and solve customer problems across the full creative production pipeline.<br/>- Own performance, reliability, and quality of the frontend platform — profiling, measuring, and optimizing to ensure the application feels responsive under demanding workloads.<br/>- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions that will define the platform's technical foundation.<br/><br/>This role offers a unique opportunity to build professional creative tooling powered by AI — the kind of software where rendering performance, pixel-level precision, and deep browser expertise matter as much as product intuition.
