Head Storeperson

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area, seeking an innovative and customer-focused team member to lead our Inwards Goods and very busy storeroom. If you are physically fit, hardworking, have excellent attention to detail and can think on your feet then we would like to meet you. We would prefer someone with previous experience in inwards goods or storeperson roles.

 

The key responsibilities of these positions include: 

 

• Delivering exceptional customer service 
• Liaise with department managers to ensure correct stock has been received 
• Maintaining stock levels and presentation standards
• Implementation of Food and Health and Safety requirements
• Leading team members
• Forklift Operation
• Stocktaking
• Goods receipting

 

Essential requirements: 

 

• Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
• Inwards goods/Storeperson experience/leadership experience.
• Current Forklift certification.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg 
• Excellent computer skills.
• SAP knowledge
• A good eye for detail.
• Able to work in a demanding and high volume  environment.
• Ability to work in a team.
• An understanding of work place safety and food safety requirements.

 

The available shifts are as follows:

 

• Tuesday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Wednesday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
• Saturday 7.00am-3.30pm
