Director, Identity Access Management

               

Network Communications and Security Operations is responsible for managing key parts of Network and Security Operations tasks including enterprise Identity Access Management platform and services within Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) and its subsidiaries.

The Director of Identity Access Management is accountable for the technical design, engineering, and operations of the enterprise authentication and authorization capabilities within SPE’s (Sony Pictures Entertainment) enterprise Identity Access Management platform and services. This role also focuses on analyzing emerging authentication technologies to design and implement secure, intuitive, scalable, and reliable Access Management solutions that support SPE’s both internal and external users. 

This position requires deep technical understanding of enterprise Identity Access Management platform and services. This role also focuses on managing SPE’s day-to-day Identity Access Management operation support, identity architectural enhancement, and development of standards, global implementation, and identity technology purchase for the enterprise.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage, architect, develop and maintain SPE’s Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) solution.

  • Define, track, tune, and report on KPIs relevant to SPE’s identity and access management program.

  • Ensure proper Access Management is in place for all SPE’s internal and external applications (Single Sign On, MFA, and Directory Services) by implementing, maintaining, and supporting the SPE’s Identity Access Management platform and security.

  • Provide expert level architectural support of SPE’s IAM platform services with the deep understanding of Identity Access Management, and Privileged Access Management.

  • Work to develop employees’ skills, evaluates performance, provide feedback, and lead by example, making the workplace of choice for top security operations professionals.

  • Plan and manage project tasks, schedules, and resources related to Identity Access Management services.

  • Develop operational standards leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and support SPE’s Okta Workforce Identity Platform.

  • Provide execution and operation leadership of SPE’s Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS) program, coordinating Sony/SPE identity and access management standards and compliance across all SPE Corporate IT & Subsidiaries.

  • Lead SPE’s Identity Access Management activities in close collaboration with SPE’s Information Security teams, ensuring clear and measurable operations are executed, and a clear operation metric methodology is in place to allow consistent compliance.

  • Seek funding for projects and approves project designs and cost estimates. Reports projects’ status and critical issues to IT senior management.

  • Represent identity and access management Operations duty in cross-functional meetings and projects.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in information technology, or directly related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise level Identity Access Management platform based on Okta workforce identity.

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP IAM concepts including SSO, Directory Services and other relevant technologies.

  • Proficient knowledge of Cloud and On-Prem Directory and Identity systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta workforce identity, CyberArk, and other relevant systems.

  • Proficient knowledge of modern Authentication methods, standards, and protocols such as Single Sign On SAML, SCIM, Oauth, OpenID, Kerberos, LDAP, RADIUS, FIDO2, OTP, PIV, and other relevant mechanisms.

  • Experience with managing Okta platform and policies leveraging Terraform to automate and support operational best practices.

  • Knowledge of emerging authentication technologies and protocols.

  • Experience with compliance including SOX.

  • Experience leading large organization-wide project initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
