Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Planning, structuring, analyzing and executing on securitizations, warehouse facilities and related funding structures that will help facilitate growth while lowering the weighted average cost of capital
  • Working with the CFO and Treasurer on strategic planning of capital markets activities with a focus on ensuring sufficient long-term, cost-effective capital to meet the company’s liquidity requirements
  • Providing financial analysis on potential securitization opportunities, evaluating key performance metrics and risks associated with proposed structures and covenants
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including investment banks, rating agencies, ABS investors, capital markets law firms, trustees and other counterparties
  • Creating pitch books and due diligence presentations for ABS investors, lenders, rating agencies, and other counterparties
  • Collaborating with internal resources to assess and report on portfolio & market trends along with key performance indicators and forecasts
  • Assessing and tracking competitor funding and public disclosures to help ensure optimal execution on structuring
  • Assessing and reporting on economic, market and internal conditions that influence the ability, structure and timing to execute securitizations
  • Assessing and analyzing interest rate risk in the capital structure of the company, make recommendation to mitigate risk and execute on approved mitigation strategies
  • Assessing, reporting on, and managing counterparty, market, and operational risks related to securitizations and warehouse funding
  • Working closely with the Accounting, Tax Legal, Risk, Operations, and FP&A teams to execute securitization and warehouse funding strategies as part of the broad strategies of the company
  • Developing and maintaining excellent communications with cross-functional departments
  • Providing reporting as required to ALCO, management, the board of directors and others as required

Qualifications

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field
  • 5+ years of prior experience in Treasury, Capital Markets or similar role with a focus on securitizations and warehouse financing facilities
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, securitizations and funding vehicles
  • Thorough understanding of credit agreements and related terminology
  • Proven ability to lead process improvements and automation
  • Excellent communication skills with acute attention to detail
  • Proven leadership in developing high-performing teams and fostering collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to problem solve
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preference will be given to candidates located in the Greenville, SC area. 

 

Base Salary: $175,000 - $205,000

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

You will also be eligible to participate in our 401k program, starting on the first of the month following 30 days of employment with a company match.
