Director of National Account Management is responsible for assigned customer account management within the GPOs, wholesalers, distributers, infusion centers and specialty pharmacies focused on the Generic portfolio.
Location: This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in the United States. Up to 6 nights of domestic travel per month will be required.
How you’ll spend your day
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.
- Responsible for assigned account management across US generic portfolio and various channels including but not limited to Retail, Institutional, & Specialty Pharmacy channels.
- Achieve and exceed Teva sales objectives through strong, healthy customer relationship mgmt.
- Work with generics Institutional GPO and regional Specialty Pharmacy account managers to align on all aspects of product life cycle initiatives.
- Successfully align and resolve all necessary activities on assigned accounts to achieve desired outcomes on the generic portfolio.
- Partner with our Biosims sales team on IDN support for key generic products.
- Responsible for all account proposals and follow up to ensure products are loaded properly and communications sent to all necessary internal and external parties.
- Direct and lead business relationships with assigned accounts. Developing and maintaining relationships with multiple levels, including executive level management at key accounts.
- Coordinate remediation activities with internal groups to best solve challenges (supply, FTS, Contract, price, returns, etc).
- Obtain and report market intelligence to help guide marketing strategies.
- Travel for customer business meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and advancing business objectives.
- Represent Teva at trade shows, conventions and conferences as appropriate
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Generic commercial account management, Sales or other relevant experience in finance, commercial operations, national account management, procurement or contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree required

- Sales, Account Management, Contracts/Pricing, Pharmaceutical Product Management

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Approximately 6 nights of domestic travel throughout the US on a monthly basis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
- Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
- Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $180,640 – $237,090 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
