Job Summary:
MPS is looking for an Application Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line, focused on solving customers’ challenges in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and doing our part to ensure a sustainable/greener tomorrow.
As a part of the team, you will be focused on developing cutting edge reference designs, testing the latest BMS ASIC, and generating collateral such as datasheets/application notes/ISO26262 documentation, as well as providing application customer support. Essential functions:
- Provide onsite support of key customers design and testing.
- Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to enhance and debug analog IC products.
- Develop application reference circuits.
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes.
- Provide application support for key customers and field application engineers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with general analog blocks such as ADCs, DACs, operational amplifiers, LDOs, DCDC.
- Experience with BMS or high voltage applications is preferred
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- MSEE or higher required
