Coordinator - Rental Services Assets

Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Rental Services fleet in IN and MI by accurately inputting and tracking fleet information in the various ERP systems. In addition, this position will play a role in improving and supporting the warranty process.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform continuous updates to the ERP systems for fleet specifications and attributes for all brands of rental fleet
- Monitor, track, and update asset lifecycle for identification and record keeping
- Support sales representatives in their efforts to sell new Allied equipment by quoting vendor costs and lead times
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors to improve quoting turnaround times and accuracy
- Work with vendors and other departments to maintain accurate and complete asset data
- Perform inventory audits in conjunction with our internal inventory team, reconcile reports, and fix discrepancies as part of the audit process
- Support the development and continuous improvement of our Allied warranty process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No formal responsibility for supervising others.
Position Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma
- 3 years’ experience within the equipment rental business or fleet management
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
- In depth understanding of the equipment rental industry, product lines, and customers

- Good communication skills including verbal, written, listening, and non-verbal skills
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn industry specific programs
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and follow-up skills
Other Requirements of Position
- Works under general supervision. Employee acts independently to handle standard problems but usually report on such problems. More unusual problems are referred to a supervisor/manager
- Major responsibilities typically require a modest amount of creativity and latitude. Employee typically operates under general instructions with some established procedures and policies
- If an error is made while in this position, it will require moderate effort to identify the error and can create a minimal impact on the company financially
