Program Coordinator School of Medical Imaging - SOMI (Full Time) - 7041

Primary purpose is to direct formal clinical and didactic instruction and demonstration in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.  Recruitment of student technologist and direction of staff technologist in the application of instruction to the students.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s degree / Doctorate preferred.  Must be willing to begin master’s degree requirements.  Graduate of approved AMA program/s for radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound technology, or computer assisted tomography. 

Holder of a valid and current; 1) Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and (2) licensed as required by the State of West Virginia.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 Minimum of two (3) years experience in a JRC DMS accredited program.  2 years of Clinical Experience, candidate must be licensed in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Fetal Echocardiography.

 

SKILLS:

 Ability to instruct and supervise, emotional stability, skill in evaluating and analyzing the performance of student technologist
