About the Role:

Marshall Health Network is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fundraising Events Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of major fundraising events across our network foundations. In this dynamic role, you'll help bring to life events that support our philanthropic goals and make a direct impact on the communities we serve.

As the Fundraising Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of event coordination from strategy development and budgeting to on-the-ground execution and post-event analysis. Your creativity, organizational skills, and passion for mission-driven work will help ensure each event is successful, memorable, and aligned with our brand of excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Strategy

  • Assist in developing and managing a comprehensive calendar of six major annual fundraising events, including:

    • Gala (SMMC)

    • Children’s Classic (HFCH)

    • Path to a Cure (ECI - CHH/SMMC/RH)

    • Hope Blooms (Project Hope)

    • Run Toward Recovery (ProAct)

    • Golf Classic (River’s Health)

  • Contribute to the creation of event themes and cause concepts

  • Prepare detailed project plans and help facilitate post-event reviews

  • Collaborate with teams and report on event strategies to Foundation Boards of Directors

Event Execution

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, catering, audiovisual, registration, staffing, and on-site support

  • Ensure every event upholds the Marshall Health Network brand and delivers an excellent experience for attendees and sponsors

  • Support the delivery of events that meet or exceed revenue and engagement goals

  • Provide comprehensive post-event evaluations and reports

Budget & Financial Oversight

  • Assist in preparing and managing event budgets

  • Track and monitor revenue and expenses, ensuring alignment with financial goals

  • Provide regular financial updates to Foundation leadership

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Event planning portfolio may be requested

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in event coordination, project management, or related fields

  • Proven ability to support large-scale events from planning through execution

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Positive, collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
