Sr. Technical Product Owner

At KPI Solutions, we are building our next generation Warehouse Execution System. We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) who will lead the product development team to define, build and release new features in an agile manner. Additionally, the TPO will collaborate with product management to define the product vision and ensure that product exceeds customer expectations and delivers value.

• Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
• Work with product managers and technical leads / architects to determine scope and priorities for product development sprints.  Communicate the voice of the customer to the product team.
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the software development teams.
• Collaborate with onshore and off-shore Agile Scrum teams on feature development, including creating product backlogs, contributing to/reviewing/approving user stories, sprint support, and QA / acceptance testing.
• TPO along with the Scrum Master would lead sprint ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint reviews and demos of the product increment to stakeholders.
• Engaging with research team to define and implement customer usability testing, concept validation, and co-creation studies to gain insights and identify customer needs and solutions.
• Demonstrate the product and digital experiences to business stakeholders and customers.
• Balance Features, Technical Debt and Software defects to ensure a robust product offering.
• Partnering with design and user experience colleagues to deliver intuitive user centric digital experiences that exceed customer expectations.
• Working with cross-functional teams to get buy-in/approval/guidance, including lines of business, operations, legal, compliance, information security, fraud, and related functions.
• Collaborate with product manager and software solutions to establish quarterly goals and objectives to deliver the product feature roadmap.
• Engage and collaborate with the product teams to create product documentation such as mock-ups, wireframes, DOO, FSD, architecture and design docs, customer support and startup docs, etc.
• 25% travel as needed

Requirements

·       You have extensive product development experience in Warehouse Management Systems.

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent

·       At least 3 years of experience as a product owner similar role in an agile environment

·       At least 5 Years professional software development experience preferably in Java.

·       Experience with agile tools and technologies including Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate between business and technical.

·        Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex concepts/data and present solutions.

·        Ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization.
