About the role

In this role, you will facilitate employee communications across global groups and functions to enable and support People@Nasdaq programs, change management, and transformations. You will contribute to fostering a positive, thriving culture where employees are informed, empowered, and passionate about their work at Nasdaq. As a strategic thought leader and expert communicator, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and implementing a broad range of communications and stakeholder management strategies that align with the company’s vision, culture, and business plans. This position will manage a small team and translate business strategies into clear, consistent, and effective messaging across multiple internal People teams and global Nasdaq channels.
You will report to the Chief of Staff, Strategic Planning within the office of People@Nasdaq.

As the Communications leader for the People team you will: 

  • Build and execute on a cohesive strategy for all People@Nasdaq team change initiatives and internal communications aligned with our overall business strategy 
  • Partner with senior leaders and the broader Nasdaq internal communications team to align on key communication priorities and timing. 
  • Orchestrate strategic transformation initiatives touching on People programs, culture, AI, and global ways of working, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruption by focusing on the human impact and stakeholder communication 
  • Own the internal communications processes and content calendar for People communications, ensuring that the most important messages reach the right audiences, that our employees know where to go for the information they need, and that our mission and values are woven into the DNA of our communications 
  • Lead, with your team, engaging multi-media and multi-channel communications campaigns (e.g., newsletters, webinars, owned social channels, and intranet) in collaboration with key stakeholders to tell compelling stories  
  • Monitor critical metrics and drive insights to help improve the efficiency of our internal communications strategy. 
  • Collaborate closely with the enterprise communications team on aligning strategy and planning with broader Nasdaq communications
  • Drive continuous improvement in communications processes and infrastructure.
  • Ensure risk mitigation in communication through preemptive planning and consistent stakeholder alignment, including Legal.

  • Experience building internal communications and marketing campaigns. 
  • Capable of leading cross-functional projects and influencing multiple team members and leadership across different departments and functions. 
  • A keen ability to build strong professional partnerships. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills.

The base pay range for this role is $137,100 - $228,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
