THE ROLE: Senior Forecasting Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Forecasting Manager to join our growing operations team and play a critical role in optimizing Quince’s inventory performance. In this role, you will manage forecasts at all levels to drive inventory turns, improve in-stock performance, and maximize return on investment.

Because Quince’s business model is unique, this position will be equally unique in its execution—combining analytical rigor, strategic partnership, and hands-on collaboration with sourcing, technology, and vendor teams.

Success in this position means building data-driven forecasting systems that balance product availability with working capital efficiency while supporting Quince’s mission to deliver luxury quality at radically low prices.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast items at the style-color-size level by week, achieving key performance indicators including in-stock rates, inventory turns, and return on investment.

  • Partner closely with the internal sourcing team and external vendors to collaborate on forecasts and maximize product availability.

  • Work directly with the technology team to develop and implement integrated, intelligent, and automated forecasting solutions.

  • Conduct analytics and root-cause analysis to identify opportunities for KPI improvement.

  • Collaborate with sourcing to model vendor relationships, terms, and risk profiles.

  • Build short-, mid-, and long-range inventory and replenishment plans that align with business strategy.

  • Present forecasts, strategies, and performance updates weekly to executives.

  • Manage and mentor one or more team members as the function scales.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4–6 years of experience in inventory planning, merchandising, or related analytics/technology roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain Management preferred.
