CHIEF NURSING EXECUTIVE VP

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible to create shared organization and department of nursing goals and for alignment and integration of the delivery of care that advances CentraCare's quadruple aim utilizing shared leadership and shared accountability. Is accountable for nursing practice across the care continuum. Is accountable for collaborating with providers and other members of the healthcare team to lead clinical transformation, enhance safety, quality and consumer experience across the care continuum. Leads integration of nursing and nursing practice and professional standards across the CentraCare . Responsible for Nursing Practice, Magnet (St. Cloud Hospital), Nursing Excellence, and Ambulatory Nursing Practice. Reporting directly to the COO and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team the CNE is integral to driving the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. 

Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate on our journey to become a high reliability organization (HRO). Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. 
 

Qualifications

• 5 years successful experience in healthcare leadership and management with progressive levels of responsibility
• Successful experience as a CNE within an integrated health system required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of MN required. A temporary MN RN License is acceptable upon start date, with a permanent license required within 60 days of hire.
