In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to the local plant management and a key contributor to the financial performance of the site, working in close partnership with the South East Europe cluster.</p> <p>This is a high-impact role focused on driving business performance through financial insights, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. You will act as a key interface between Finance and Operations, ensuring that data-driven decisions are made to support our long-term business goals.</p> <h3> </h3> <h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Vic site, aligning financial objectives with strategic goals.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Provide proactive business support to plant management, fostering cost discipline and promoting operational efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p>Analyze manufacturing costs, overheads, and working capital, and propose cost optimization strategies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support investment decisions through CAPEX planning, ROI analysis, and feasibility studies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Pricing, Sourcing, and Commercial Finance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain strong internal controls and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop and present financial dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven decisions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Contribute to global and regional finance projects, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in standardization and simplification of finance processes within the CSD cluster.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3><b>Profile Requirements</b></h3> <p> </p> <p><b>Education &amp; Qualifications:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.</p> </li> <li> <p>Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required (spoken and written).</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Experience:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>4–6+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering, controlling, or FP&amp;A within a manufacturing environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven track record in managing financial processes at factory/site level.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in a multinational or matrix organization, preferably in the B2B or food industry.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Technical Skills:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost structures, standard costing, and operational finance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in financial planning tools, ERP systems, and data analysis.</p> </li> <li> <p>Sound understanding of supply chain financials, investment analysis, and forecasting methodologies.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Personal Competencies:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on, solutions-driven, and proactive approach to challenges.</p> </li> <li> <p>Able to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3> </h3> <h3><b>What We Offer</b></h3> <p>At Barry Callebaut, you’ll find an environment that combines the stability of a global industry leader with the innovation and agility of a growth-focused organization.
