Analyst II, Full Stack (Strategic Finance)

<p>Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.</p><p>We’re looking for a passionate, technically skilled and analytically minded professional to join the Strategic Finance team.  Strategic Finance is responsible for informing company strategy, owning planning and budgeting, and performing financial analyses throughout the company.  In this role, you will help deliver the future of connected finance by maintaining and building Anaplan models across our planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities.</p> <h2><strong>What you'll do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Empower the Finance Org and cross functional partner organizations with timely, accurate and comprehensive view into Affirm’s financial results and forecasts</li> <li>Lead migration of offline planning &amp; reporting in Excel and Google Sheets to Anaplan</li> <li>Perform administrative FP&amp;A functions in the Anaplan models. i.e. Reconciling differences between Anaplan and source systems, granting user access, snapshots.</li> <li>Understand end-to-end FP&amp;A business processes and how the Anaplan models operate within that process.</li> <li>As the first point of contact for end user problems, provide tier 1 support by either solving their problem, teaching them how to solve on their own.</li> <li>Provide hands-on training to end users to facilitate adoption of the Anaplan models. Create training materials and contribute to FAQs.</li> <li>Actively contribute to cross-functional and company wide systems related initiatives</li> <li>Support key strategic finance processes such as annual planning, monthly forecasts, etc.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What we look for</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience with Anaplan development, design, architecture, and maintenance.</li> <li>Certified Model Builder or Certified Solution Architect qualifications.</li> <li>Working knowledge of analytical languages and tools, such as Python, SQL, Snowflake, Excel, and visualization software (e.g. Looker, Tableau, etc.)</li> <li>Strong finance background delivering reporting and forecasts during the month end stress.</li> <li>Hunger to learn and adopt Anaplan’s ever-evolving platform.</li> <li>A love of helping people through stressful situations by helping them solve a problem or discovering the source of data discrepancies that unblock them from making progress.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to switch contexts and dissect information between highly technical and business-focused topics quickly and easily.</li> <li>Strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity and an ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment</li> <li>Have an undergrad degree in finance, business, or engineering or have a combination of other education and equivalent work.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></h2> <p>We offer a competitive package, with some highlights listed below.  However, the given figures are not guaranteed compensation ranges; rather, they are unbinding, approximate indications of what the salary may be for your awareness.
