Job Summary

The Incline Retail Partner is responsible for handling sales transactions and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for guests. This role supports Rock City Enterprises’ mission by delivering friendly, efficient guest service, maintaining a clean and organized shop, and assisting with daily operations. Under the direction of the TN Operations Team Leader, the Incline Retail Partner performs the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with Rock City Enterprises’ mission, culture, and values.
• Model appropriate guest and partner interactions at all times.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including all cashier-related duties.
• Adhere to company policies, including cash handling and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment.
• Assist with restocking merchandise as needed.
• Answer phones in a professional manner and take messages or orders as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications

Education& Experience

• Current high school student participating in a Work-Based Learning program
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to present a professional and conservative image to guests.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write basic reports and correspondence.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly personality with a desire to provide exceptional guest service.
• Strong verbal communication skills in both one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using U.S. currency.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Regular use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
