As the Accounts Payable Team Lead you play a key role for driving departmental results, effective team members leading and training, and issue resolution. You serve as a Subject Matter Expert in project roles and be a key point of escalation for team members and stakeholders. You resolve cross functional problems associated with processing invoices and payments, advising others on problem issues, and reviewing processes for potential efficiency improvements. You use your accounting knowledge to support accounting transactions, month end activities, and work closely with the Accounting and Financial Analyst teams.

Responsibilities:

• Being the first point of contact for global AP related issues
• Leading the day-to-day operation of the AP team, prioritizing work and optimizing resources
• Managing invoice processing, payment execution, vendor communication and issue resolution
• Working closely with Procurement team on PO and T&E process improvement.
• Coordination of month end closing activities assigned to AP team, including accrual preparation and posting, monthly account reconciliation, aging analysis
• Identification of potential improvements in AP processes that will increase work efficiency and improve internal controls
• Building and maintaining good relationship with Stakeholders and Business Partners
• Playing SME role in implementation of new systems
• Mentoring the Team Members and enabling continuous development and professional growth

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience gained in P2P international environment
• Knowledge of general accounting principles is required
• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable
• Proven track record of managing direct reports
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast paced environment
• Fluency in English
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
