About the role
ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Spanish company that offers comprehensive global transport solutions, is seeking a Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the economic performance of the project, leading the monitoring of costs, deadlines, and other project’s indicators.
- Lead the interlocution with the Customer.
- Project Management Plan according to business processes.
- Management of contract requirements with client and with local subcontractors.
- Management of the local portion budget.
- Provide required legal, financial, technical and operational support in project execution (if necessary,through third parties’ services).
- Interface business’ head office to ensure correct implementation of processes.
- Support on business development and future opportunities within the rail sector.
- Lead the Project Team and maintain motivation.
- Participate in and validate the sizing of the Project Team.
- Carry out the performance evaluation of the Project Team.
- Coordinate and prioritize the activities of the Project Team members.
- Deliverables Management: identification, assignation, monitoring, customer acceptance.
- Contract Requirements Management.
- Project Milestones Management.
- Local Budget Management and local invoices approval.
- Transfer project to Warranty responsible.
- Close pending points and prepare the Project Closure report.
- Contractual Management:
- Ultimately responsible for achieving maximum customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the scope of the contract and possible variations thereof, as well as for generating capital gains.
- Negotiate non-compliances with Customer.
- Limit Customer modifications
- Report internally, both to Management, Project participants and the Client, on the status of the Project
- Comply with the responsibilities assigned in the processes in general and ensure compliance in terms of Quality, Product Safety, Health, Safety and Environment Risk Prevention.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in program management in aeronautics, renewable energy, automotive or railway field.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language.
- Knowledge of Spanish language is highly valued.
- Availability to travel frequently and extended stays in different destinations, both national and international.
- Knowledge of SAP management module, DOORS management tool and 365 Office.
- Knowledge of the PRLs regulations in force in the different workshops of practice.
