The new "IT &amp; Digital Solutions" organization creates new opportunities. One of the roles necessary to ensure a fit for future organization is a Senior Project Manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a senior project manager you are responsible for running bigger international programs and projects in accordance with the chosen methodology and approach. You are part of a project team, responsible to apply the best practices, facilitation and encouraging collaboration and communication inside and outside an international project team. The project manager manages an international project team – often in a virtual way - and delivers together with the team the right scope, in time and budget in order to create high value and user friendly solutions and removes obstacles where needed. The project manager drives to the handover of the results (product or service) to Business and IT operations. In general a project manager act as an in-house consultant, who challenges, consults, solves problems and generates value together with the team. </p> <p><br/> Specifics for plan-driven project stages: </p> <ul> <li>plan, manage and co-ordinate the execution of the bigger international programs and projects in line with the approved business case;</li> <li>deliver the targeted results within the agreed time, budget and quality requirements in accordance with Borealis and Digital Solutions project management minimum project standards;</li> <li>make sure to involve security and architects when needed.</li> </ul> <p><br/> Specifics for agile driven project stages: </p> <ul> <li>lead an international delivery team and are responsible to collaborate close with the PO, UX/UI, developers, experts and specialists in order to build the right solution for the users and deliver the targeted results;</li> <li>are the point of contact for the business stakeholders and internal Digital Solution colleagues;</li> <li>consult PO in backlog management, user story composition and agile methodology;</li> <li>are responsible to make sure we deliver the value promised, live up and follow Borealis and Digital Solutions project management minimum standards and are an ambassador for the agile methodology;</li> <li>make sure to involve security and architects when needed.</li> </ul> <h2>About you</h2> <p> </p> <p>To be considered for this role, you have a Master degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent proven experience. We are expecting at least 10 years working experience within IT from which at least 5-10 years experience in leading bigger plan driven or facilitating bigger agile driven projects and programs. Broad business knowledge of the core processes and proven process improvement capabilities are an advantage, as well as experience in participating or leading projects. Furthermore you should have high level knowledge on IT Solutions, and expert knowledge of plan-driven/Agile approaches and project management techniques. </p> <p> </p> <p>You are excellent in communication, presentations, have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, and good facilitation and coaching skills. You must be able to lead an international team to self-organization.
