As a part of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of driving IBM’s ongoing transformation as a company that continuously innovates and leads the market.<br/><span></span><br/><span>Your Role and Responsibilities</span><span></span><br/>– Provide high-level advisory services to financial institutions in the Netherlands regarding the implementation and compliance with Anti Financial Crime (AFC) regulations, particularly Wwft and Sw.<br/>– Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor strategies, policies, and procedures for effective AFC compliance.<br/>– Conduct thorough assessments of existing AFC frameworks within financial institutions, identifying gaps and proposing actionable solutions.<br/>– Offer guidance and support in the development and enhancement of AFC-related systems, controls, and processes.<br/>– Stay updated with evolving regulatory changes, industry best practices, and technological advancements in the AFC landscape, ensuring our clients remain at the forefront of compliance.<br/><span></span><br/><span>Required Technical and Professional Expertise</span><span></span><br/>– Successfully completed university degree in economics, law, business or other relevant areas.<br/>– Excellent level of Dutch language<br/>– Knowledge and understanding of Dutch regulatory requirements such as Wft, Sw, and/or Wwft.<br/>– Proficient understanding of business models and fundamental processes within the financial sector, particularly in relation to Anti Financial Crime (AFC).<br/>– Relevant work experience in the financial sector (banks, insurers, pension funds, payment institutions and/or trust offices) and/or relevant work experience in the supervision of financial institutions.<br/>– Experience in conducting investigations of compliance with Wft and/or Wwft and/or Sanctions Act<br/>– Good attention to detail, writing and editing skills with the ability to construct well-founded, clear and concise analyses.<br/><span></span><br/><span>Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise</span><span></span><br/>– Prior experience in conducting suitability and reliability tests a plus.<br/>– AFC related qualifications (such as ACAMS or ICA) a plus.<br/><span>Key Job Details</span><br/> <span>Role:</span>Senior Consultant in AML/CFT – Financial Services <span>Location:</span>Amsterdam, NL <span>Category:</span>Consulting <span>Employment Type:</span>Full-Time <span>Travel Required:</span>Up to 80% or 4 days a week (home on weekends – based on project requirements) <span>Contract Type:</span>Regular <span>Company:</span>(0096) IBM Nederland B.V. <span>Req ID:</span>686697BR <p> </p>
