As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will identify manufacturing technologies, outline manufacturing sequences and methods, develop testing and qualification requirements, and coordinate with supply chain to produce distinct products in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing Engineers create finished and semifinished product drawings and process execution workflows to turn raw materials such as metal, plastic or wood and individual component parts into a finished product in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner, while maintaining product quality.
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Being a Project Leader. Having the Experience in leading supply chain projects to successful closure. Project types include lean implementation, quality improvement, obsolescence, vendor development, new product introduction (NPI), capital equipment purchases, preventative
- Maintenance of equipment, and improved product flow.
- Being a technical problem solver - requires you to become the hands-on product, process, and equipment expert for camera assemblies and components.
- Initiating and following through on projects targeting vendor supplied material improvements.
- Collaborating with R&D Engineering and other functional departments to implement improved or new product and process changes.
- Seeking out and introduce innovative technologies relevant to the product and process for camera assemblies, including automation and design for manufacturing (DFM) techniques.
- Providing hands on support to assembly operators, technicians, and supervisor to ensure that daily, weekly, monthly business objects of the camera manufacturing area are met.
- Taking Ownership of production process equipment, tooling, and documentation integrity.
- Preparing & process engineering change documents EC’s, to facilitate controlled implementation of product & process changes in production.
- Preparing & processing test reports, to facilitate completion of verification and validation of changes to product or process, when required.
- Identifying and solve safety related issues through the Safety Concern and Near Miss reporting system.
- Designing, documenting, validating and implementing Manufacturing Operating Plans (MOP) such that the standard process will produce products at the desired quality and quantity levels with the planned number of assembly operators.
- Participating in daily and monthly Camera team operating rhythms focused on providing accurate visual management to communicate daily results and status of issues for key metrics of: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Tooling needs, and more.

To be successful in this role you will require:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or degree in other sciences or technical discipline with significant
production engineering experience with camera, or micro machining, or micro electromechanical assemblies. - Have 3-4 years of experience in Production Engineering
- Have Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Have Experience with Solid Works CAD
- Be able to demonstrate a track record of leading & completing projects successfully.
Strong working knowledge of basic mechanical hand tools, and gauges (caliper, Mics, etc.). - Have Understanding of basic electronic circuits.
