Job Duties
Senior Sales Associates serve in a lead position, responsible for modeling best retail sales practices and providing superb customer service, often handling first-level guest inquiries and needs. Must have the ability to learn and understand product merchandise in order to promote sales and communicate effectively with customers and staff. In addition, this position is responsible for opening and closing shops, performing cash reconciliations, balancing registers and safes and ensuring that bank deposits and financial paperwork are done correctly. They will also assist in the receiving, verifying and transferring of merchandise, to include proper pricing and stocking. Assist with the training of new staff and making sure that sales floors and stock rooms are kept clean, orderly and well stocked.
Minimum Qualifications
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience with cash handling and processing credit card payments using a POS system.
Previous sales experience.
Basic computer skills.
Previous experience working in a public contact position.
Additional Considerations
Any prior experience in a retail key holder position is helpful.

This is a part time/wage position and is capped at 1500 hours per year. Our museums are open 362 days a year and sustain a 7 day a week operation, requiring weekend and holiday work.
