Program Manager, Data Governance & Reporting Transformation

About the Role

We are seeking a Program Manager, Data Governance & Reporting Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives at Parsons focused on enhancing data integrity, compliance, and reporting capabilities. This role will drive the development and execution of a data governance framework, optimize reporting structures, and implement best practices that enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data governance, reporting, enterprise transformation, and financial systems, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional programs. They will collaborate with finance, IT, and business leaders to integrate data governance initiatives across enterprise platforms, enhance reporting automation, and improve data transparency for strategic decision-making.

This position is remote/virtual office and can be based anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Program Leadership

- Develop and implement a structured data governance framework to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

- Define and enforce data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards across multiple systems and business functions.

- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data governance integration across Deltek Costpoint, Ariba, ICERTIS, and other enterprise platforms.

- Drive the implementation of metadata management, data cataloging, and governance tools to enhance data visibility and usability.

Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Optimization

- Lead the transformation of enterprise reporting, ensuring reports are accurate, automated, and aligned with business needs.

- Implement best-in-class BI and reporting tools to enhance self-service analytics capabilities.

- Standardize and streamline KPIs, metrics, and reporting processes across departments.

- Partner with finance and operations teams to improve financial and procurement reporting using Deltek Costpoint, Ariba, and other tools.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

- Serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring alignment on data governance and reporting priorities.

- Lead cross-functional working groups to drive adoption of new governance policies and reporting solutions.

- Provide training and support to improve data literacy and self-service reporting capabilities across the organization.

- Develop a change management strategy to ensure a smooth transition to improved data governance and reporting structures.

Technology & Innovation

- Evaluate and recommend data governance and reporting technologies to improve data management and analytics.

- Drive automation and innovation in reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

- Support the integration of data governance best practices in digital transformation initiatives, including M&A, cloud adoption, and system upgrades.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in program management, data governance, reporting transformation, or enterprise analytics.

- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data management best practices.

- Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) and data visualization.

- Experience working with ERP and procurement systems (Deltek Costpoint, Ariba, ICERTIS, SAP, etc.).

- Proven ability to manage large-scale transformation programs, working cross-functionally with finance, IT, and business teams.

- Strong communication, leadership, and change management skills.

- Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.
