THE ROLE: HEAD OF EVENTS

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Head of Events to lead the end-to-end delivery of our expansive global events calendar, virtual and in-person. This role will report directly into senior leadership and oversee everything from ideation to execution, team development to tech integration, and post-event analytics to ROI optimisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning & Execution

• Develop and deliver a cohesive event strategy aligned with ASG’s business goals.
• Lead high-stakes in-person and online events that elevate our brand and drive measurable impact.
• Stay ahead of trends to ensure our experiences remain innovative and best-in-class.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a high-performing events team including VAs, vendors, and contractors.
• Drive team training in systems, tech, and operational excellence.

Event Management

• Oversee the entire event lifecycle, from concept and budgeting through logistics, delivery, and debrief.
• Ensure all events run on time, within budget, and exceed audience expectations.

Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration

• Partner with marketing, sales, finance, and content teams to align event strategy across the business.
• Manage relationships with venues, suppliers, and production partners to ensure seamless delivery.

Post-Event Optimisation

• Lead post-event analysis to capture insights, assess ROI, and continuously improve.
• Use tech tools, CRM, and financial management platforms to streamline operations and decision-making.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale events (ideally in business education or personal development)
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and external contractors
• Advanced knowledge of event tech, CRMs, and project management tools
• Willingness to travel (up to 100 days/year)
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about personal and professional growth
