The Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible to provide Human Resource consultation and support to managers and associates. The SR. HRBP consults, drives, and supports in the areas of Human Resources practices, processes and objectives to build associate-oriented high-performance and engaged cultures. The incumbent partners with these  business  leaders  to  create  a  workforce  that is empowered, informed, quality-focused, productive, and goal-focused.

 The SR. HRBP works with the business leaders and HR leaders to drive Veralto culture (VES)   daily, continuously building and driving a high-performance, engaged, diverse and motivated team.  Additionally, the SR. HRBP provides professional coordination and  management of  some transactional HR activities.

This position is part of the HR Global Operations team located in Loveland, Colorado or Ames, Iowa and will be hybrid.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Supporting critical business and organizational strategies, talent management programs and processes including Performance Development Plans (P4G) & Employee Development plans (D4G) leadership development, acquisition of early talent and diversity and inclusion.
  • Coaching and training managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them facilitating effective communication channels between leaders and associates.
  • Participating as requested, with process owners to explore opportunities to optimize activities utilizing continuous improvement processes (Transactional Process Improvement, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, etc.). Acts as a change leader for improvements.
  • Ensuring company policies are communicated clearly and administered in compliance with all labor laws and reporting requirements. Supports company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements.
  • Supporting special HR projects to achieve desired outcomes and participates on project teams as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 6+ years of Human Resources experience, including minimum 3 years as an HR Business Partner
  • Sophisticated and demonstrated skills in mediating, negotiating, coaching, business acumen, and project management
  • Excellent prioritization skills

It is a plus if you also possess:

  • HR certification
  • Prior HR Business Partner experience supporting manufacturing client groups
