The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of HR and Administrative functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. You'll manage all aspects of FMLA, support clinic and department leaders in resolving conflicts and addressing performance issues and ensure a positive work environment. Additionally, you'll play a key role in updating employee information within our HRIS system, facilitating smooth operations and organizational efficiency. 

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain compliance of both electronic and paper personnel files, organizing personal and confidential information. 
  • Conduct audits related to personnel, including benefits programs, 401K, clinical and insurance compliance, leaves of absence, and satisfaction surveys. 
  • Manage and track information for employees on leaves of absence, FMLA, Workers Compensation, and those requiring reasonable accommodation. 
  • Administer employee benefit programs through the company’s HRIS and COBRA portals. 
  • Communicate status updates and relevant information with all necessary departments while maintainingappropriate discretion. 
  • Provide support in responding to day-to-day employee relations issues and assist in conflict resolution, including participating in formal investigations when necessary. 
  • Compile and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making. 
  • Assist in creating, organizing, and monitoring training via the company’s Learning Management system. 
  • Provide support and direction to the Human Resources Assistant. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Director. 

Qualifications:

  • Does what they say they will do; balances multiple priorities to ensure commitments and deadlines are met.  
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality. 
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.  
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR roles, with proficiency in employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
