About the role

Job Summary:
The Payroll Associate is responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This role ensures compliance with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations. The Payroll Associate works closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and support employee inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
    Process bi-monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness – for A1 Sites
    Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay.
    Verify timesheets, attendance records, and leave balances.
    Ensure compliance with state, and local payroll regulations.
    Assist in preparing payroll reports for management and audits.
    Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax forms.
    Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
    Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
    1–2 years of experience in payroll or accounting (preferred).•    Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations.
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
