Overview/Summary

This position will help develop and execute strategic marketing plans in support of Crawford Electric's Industrial division, including Rockwell Automation hardware, software, and services. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Industrial team to promote the Crawford brand internally and externally with an emphasis on maximizing exposure, brand recognition, customer engagement, and sales growth
  • Work with marketing, purchasing, sales, vendor partners, and digital teams to execute promotions that expand awareness and generate incremental business
  • Conduct research that assists the company in identifying new business partners
  • Partner with automation team leaders in development of the annual Rockwell commercial plan and align marketing content and tactics accordingly
  • Manage Rockwell Automation Events (Automation Fair – ROKLive – RAOTM). Plan, negotiate, and coordinate customer event activities including travel packages. Create all marketing content for events. Coordinate and book customer travel.
  • Work with Rockwell Specialists to develop and promote in person and virtual trainings
  • Build and maintain website for all Industrial initiatives
  • Partner with marketing communications team and external agencies to develop high impact graphic design
  • Develop plan to segment audience for delivering targeted marketing campaigns
  • Ensure content follows professional, company policy standards and brand execution requirements
  • Run, analyze, and report on marketing activities

 

Qualifications

 

  • College degree in marketing or communications; or 2-5 years in traditional and digital marketing communication initiatives
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Experience in electrical distribution preferred but not required

 

 

Environment

 

  • Hybrid in-office/work-from-home schedule
  • Travel approximately 20% to surrounding branches on a project and event basis
  • Highly collaborative
