About the role

The ReadyNow Business Lead is responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the ReadyNow program. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, onboarding, and operational management to ensure the program's success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of commercial business operations, and a passion for developing talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and Hiring: Lead the recruitment process by identifying talent needs, developing job descriptions, and managing the interview process to attract top candidates for ReadyNow and across CNS Sales organization.  
  • Interviewing: Conduct interviews and assess candidates to ensure alignment with the program's goals and culture. Support CNS Sales Leadership interviews as the subject matter expert in core ASPIRE competencies to assess and identify high performing talent for the organization.
  • Training and Onboarding: Design and implement comprehensive training and onboarding programs to ensure new hires are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for ReadyNow Program and across CNS Sales.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ReadyNow program, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the program's objectives and drive overall business impact. Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and growth.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement. Up to 60% travel to conduct field contacts with sales employees and customers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders to support program initiatives. Represent ReadyNow program in meetings and presentations across the organization. Influence organizational decision-making processes within Region Leadership.
  • Program Expansion: Identify opportunities for program growth and expansion to meet business needs. Lead the development and implementation of new initiatives within the ReadyNow program and across CNS Sales. Drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing across the organization.
  • Expanded Team Management: Oversee multiple Regions. Mentor and develop Trusted Advisors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Knowledge of commercial business operations, with a focus on recruitment and talent development.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.

Minimum $139,572.00 - Maximum $212,750.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States. Other elements may be used to determine actual pay such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role. Typically, actual pay will be positioned within the established range, rather than at its minimum or maximum. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with states and local laws.
