Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Integration Engineer. In this role, you will work within a team of systems and software engineers using Agile development methodology to design, integrate, test and maintain C-130J, C-5 and P-3 avionics and software products. You’ll work under general supervision in on an Agile development team to navigate engineering drawings and technical documentation, apply basic systems engineering concepts, and perform systems integration testing to ensure decomposed requirements are met. Key duties include collaborating with cross-functional teams, decomposing requirements from specifications and statements of work, writing and executing test procedures, and coordinating with lab operations technicians to ensure successful integration and testing of systems. You'll generate technical documentation to show compliance to requirements and airworthiness criteria. The successful candidate must have good communication and organizational skills.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance (not required to start). This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience and/or knowledge of navigating engineering drawings and technical documentation and basic systems engineering concepts
Desired skills
• Familiarity with systems engineering principles and the ability to understand the relationship between hardware, software, and electrical systems
• Experience writing/executing test procedures
• Familiarity with computerized data acquisition and automated test control systems and instrumentation
• Time and project management skills
• Experience with software platforms including Microsoft Suite, Python, MATLAB, Java, TWIN etc.
