Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Participate in architect, design, and developing scalable, high performance, distributed, enterprise reusable cloud-based micro services, and Application Programming Interfaces from its inception to production. Coordinate and responsible for browser and mobile integration. Technical coordination with business stakeholders, product owners and other technical teams. Agile based development such as estimation of development effort, participation on sprints, and releases planning, prioritization of user stories with product manager based on business roadmap and management of technical dependencies, software environments planning. Software process leadership on technical business releases such as risk evaluation, technical assessment, and applications vulnerability assessments. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Comply with software code quality standards like Test Driven Development, SonarQube, and Quality Gate. Support on scrum testing, releases, regression testing, production readiness, and post implementation support. Develop and maintain software / systems. Design and develop algorithms to optimize the performance of software products. Debug, troubleshoot, and solve production bugs and issues. Responsible for application development and update using Java, JDBC, Open Shift, APIGEE, Kafka, Spring Framework, and SQL Oracle. Design and develop reusable solutions for new problems. Participate in code reviews. Migrate from PCF to Open Shift. Work with business members to perform system design, develop and code test new application components. Perform code reviews with peers prior to submitting for QA, unit testing, documenting, installing, maintaining, and supporting proprietary and / or purchased software systems / applications. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any) or related field and 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 5 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the fields listed above. 3 years of experience must include: Designing and developing digital applications using Java, Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Spring, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Oracle, Eureka, Hysterix, and Junit; Supporting internet based Java/J2EE applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Akamai, APIGEE and Cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and OpenShift; Code reviews, code performance, unit testing, and build processing with External Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Platforms / tools including GIT / BitBucket, Jenkins, RLM (Release Lifecycle Management), and Sonar; and Requirement gathering, analysis, design and architecture, implementation, and maintenance.
