As the Sonepar USA Talent Acquisition Digital & Social Media Intern, you will be part of our Talent Acquisition and Engagement team. This team helps prospective candidates learn about, and be inspired by, the wide variety of career paths across Sonepar USA and our Operating companies. You will work alongside our Talent Acquisition and Communications colleagues on the strategy and execution for our social media feeds as well as content on the Career sites. You will support the organization’s goal to tap into new talent pools, reach and engage high potential candidates, and elevate our employer brand. From our career websites to our social media campaigns, from e-newsletters and direct marketing to paid ads, you will assist with the design of our end-to-end candidate experience that's informative, engaging, inclusive, and showcases a compelling story of what it's like to work at Sonepar USA and within our Operating companies.
You will bring to the opportunity:
· Marketing and Communications experience
· Familiar with: Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and Video creation
· Graphic Design experience; previous video and animation experience a plus
· Experience with content management on Social Media platforms
· Organized with good project management skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging at multiple levels of the organization
· Ability to leverage analytics to report on program impact
· Solutions focused – strong creative critical thinking skills
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work on several high priority, high visibility initiatives at one time
· Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
· Minimum Education: Actively pursuing a Master’s degree in either Marketing or Communications; GPA: 3.2 or higher
