Senior Manager Sustainability Stakeholder Engagement (m/f/d)

<p>Purpose</p> <p>Share sustainability information with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adidas’ sustainability efforts and achievements are well understood and receive the respective recognition. </p> <p> </p> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <ul> <li>Create, customize and share sustainability content for internal and external stakeholder engagements in alignment with respective functions (i.e. PR/Comms, Investor Relations, Finance, Sales, etc)</li> <li>Lead specific projects related to regulatory implementation to enable the organization to be ready to comply</li> <li>Prioritize external sustainability ratings and stakeholder reporting inquiries in close collaboration with the respective functions </li> <li>Lead sustainability-specific reporting (i.e. Textile Exchange Materials and Fiber Benchmark) and coordinate sustainability input for corporate reporting, (ie. Annual Report) where necessary</li> <li>Develop and drive selected external stakeholder engagements in close collaboration with Governmental Affairs, Investor Relations and PR/Comms</li> <li>Manage key account information requirements pro-actively and effectively and in close collaboration  with Sales/Markets</li> <li>Guide Markets to ensure strategic market sustainability plans support the company direction and KPIs</li> <li>Lead employee upskilling in partnership with HR, Sales/Markets and Retail Training teams</li> <li>Manage the Central Sustainability Sharepoint</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Strong expertise in environmental sustainability, EU Green Deal regulatory developments, sustainable product creation, circularity</li> <li>Strong knowledge in the area of stakeholder engagement</li> <li>Advanced x-industry expert network in decarbonization, circularity, biodiversity</li> <li>Knowledge of footwear, apparel and accessories manufacturing</li> <li>Experience in leading x-functional projects with a positive track record</li> <li>Effective communication skills</li> <li>Fluent in English (written and spoken)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ol> <li>Four-year university degree, preferably master’s degree in environmental science, CSR or related fields</li> <li>Minimum 7 years’ work experience in sustainability with a focus on decarbonization, circularity and biodiversity</li> </ol>
