Your expertise will be central to enhancing the system's real-time streaming capabilities and ensuring robust connectivity in challenging industrial environments. Your responsibilities will be tailored towards the development of the system's second version, leveraging embedded systems like the NVIDIA Jetson family and custom modem technologies. In this role, your contributions will be vital in shaping the next iteration of the OTIV.ONE system. Your work will not only enhance its network and streaming capabilities but also ensure its adaptability and effectiveness in the demanding environments of rail freight operations.</p><p></p><p><strong>Tasks and responsibilities </strong></p><ul> <li>Focus on optimizing the low-latency streaming of footage from multiple cameras to a receiving tablet in locomotives, ensuring that shunters can perform their tasks with enhanced visibility and safety.</li> <li>Contribute to the integration and optimization of embedded systems, particularly using platforms like the NVIDIA Jetson family, to enhance the processing and streaming capabilities of the OTIV.ONE system.</li> <li>Lead the creation and implementation of custom dynamic bonding software to maximize connectivity and bandwidth, ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality streaming even in challenging network conditions.</li> <li>Utilize your deep knowledge of 5G NR, core networks, and advanced router technologies to enhance the network architecture of the OTIV.ONE system, specifically tailored for real-time streaming applications.</li> <li>Apply edge computing principles to reduce latency in the OTIV.ONE system, ensuring real-time responsiveness and reliability in data processing and streaming.</li> <li>Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of the network solutions in industrial environments, particularly focusing on the unique challenges presented by rail freight operations.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Who you are </strong></p><ul> <li>Deep knowledge of 5G NR, core networks, and mobile network architecture, particularly as it applies to real-time streaming applications.</li> <li>Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing mobile networks, particularly for data-intensive and real-time applications like video streaming.</li> <li>Familiarity with dual modem routers, including bonding techniques for enhanced connectivity and reliability.</li> <li>Proven experience in testing and integrating complex network solutions, with a specific focus on real-time streaming over 5G and router technologies. </li> <li>Understanding of edge computing principles and how they integrate with 5G networks, particularly for reducing latency in streaming applications.</li> <li>Proficiency in antennas and radio frequency technologies and their optimization within 5G networks</li> </ul><ul><li>Fluent in English and knowledge of any other European language is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>What we offer </strong></p><ul> <li>Full time offer with competitive salary package.</li> <li>International environment in a disruptive start-up with opportunities to grow.</li> <li>Early riser or night owl?
