We are open to an alternate career path as well.</li><li>You value communication skills (written and spoken), and can effectively manage discussions with your technical and non-technical colleagues alike.</li><li>You bring several years of work experience as a Software Engineer and are more than ready for a new challenge.</li><li>You are knowledgeable about the web platform and understand how to utilise that in order to build scalable applications.</li><li>You have experience in system design and how to maintain codebases within cross-functional teams.</li><li>You have an understanding of software testing, especially in testing frontend applications.</li><li>You favor open communication, constant feedback and effective decision paths that optimise for learning.</li><li>You have a “never-stop-learning” attitude and a desire to develop and grow.</li><li>You are fluent in English (Level C1).</li></ul> <h3><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h3> <ul><li>You have worked in an agile development team with other disciplines (product management, design).</li><li>Familiarity with design systems (using or maintaining).</li><li>You value good frontend tooling to increase the Developer Experience for everybody.</li></ul> <h3><strong>What tools we use:</strong></h3> <ul><li>Frontend: TypeScript/React with our own Design System called Bricks</li><li>Frontend testing: Jest w/ React Testing Library, Playwright</li><li>Frontend tooling: Webpack using ESbuild, ESLint, Prettier</li><li>Backend: Python 3 (Django 5), FastAPI</li><li>Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes</li><li>Database: Postgres</li></ul> <h3><strong>How your first month will be:</strong></h3> <ul><li>You have an onboarding buddy from day one to get you on board and help you with all questions on the way.</li><li>You directly start in a team which helps you to get quickly hands-on and see your first contributions to the product in the first week already.</li><li>You have regular check-ins with your supervisor to see if your onboarding plan is working for you and where we can provide support to improve your experience.</li></ul> <h3><strong>What we offer:</strong></h3> <ul><li><strong>Scale-up Culture</strong><br/>With our experienced founding team and our flat hierarchies, we provide an environment in which everyone can give their best and grow individually.
