Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to analyze and redesign process workflows, aiming to improve efficiency and service delivery. This role involves gathering and documenting detailed requirements to support enhancements in the permitting software application and ensuring clear communication between technical teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, develop, and document detailed project requirements and technical specifications, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes.
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up steps.
- Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and provide ongoing support during the software development lifecycle.
- Develop software test plans and create user manuals or guides for end users.
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance testing to validate software performance and compliance with requirements.
- Train users on new and existing software applications to promote adoption and optimal utilization.
- Assist project management with documentation including proposals, schedules, change requests, and project closure reports.

Preferred Experience
- Experience using Accela software or working alongside Accela development teams or vendors is a significant advantage.
- Experience working within or in collaboration with community-focused agencies or organizations.
