These innovations are at the centre of our goal to transform the cash management ecosystem for investors.
Position Description:
We are seeking an individual based in Frankfurt to manage, develop and enhance the coverage of our corporate, insurance, asset managers, family offices and hedge fund clients. The individual will be accountable for driving new business from an existing book of clients with an agreed annual revenue target. Primary responsibility will be the distribution of Money Market Funds and bespoke cash solutions to this client book but also identifying opportunities to cross-sell BlackRock’s broader offering and coordinating with distribution partners in each of the BlackRock offices. The role will report to the Head of Continental Europe Cash Sales in Frankfurt.
The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for:
Active engagement with a portfolio of clients; developing a thorough understanding of the client base and investment products used.
Growing asset levels and revenues against a defined sales target.
Working collaboratively with partners across BlackRock to meet clients’ objectives and develop innovative solutions that bring the best of BlackRock.
Coordinating with key internal partners in the region.
Working closely with cash team partners to provide seamless client coverage globally.
Close collaboration with Product Strategy and Portfolio Management teams to prepare materials for client review meetings and with relevant additional internal business units when developing solutions for clients.
Developing expertise in local market practices.
Providing strategic input into developing the service model for clients.
Ensuring client account set-up operates smoothly and addressing client enquiries, errors and complaints.
Assisting in planning and budgeting for various client events and seminars in region.
Mentor junior team members and add to the Team’s friendly and coaching atmosphere.
Skills and Qualifications - the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
An experienced individual with a consistent proven track record of relationship management and sales delivery.
An ability to sell through a consultative and strategic partnership with clients.
Highly motivated with a proven ability to take initiative and work independently.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proven contributor and team player in a team environment.
Technical, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills.
Relevant financial markets experience and an understanding of the cash and short duration investment landscape.
Strong project management and coordination skills.
Travel will be required.
Relevant languages desirable.
