Careers that Change LivesThe Program Manager will join the Patient Care Systems Operations team and will be responsible for managing activities supporting the Device Manager platform. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with the OU and GO&SC functions to plan and execute initiatives across the value stream. The Program Manager requires cross-functional Operations knowledge, business management skills, and the ability to provide direction and leadership to a variety of functions across the enterprise.
Cardiac Rhythm Management and Patient Care Systems
Our Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. It is comprised of four key businesses: Cardiac Pacing Therapies, Defibrillation Solutions, Cardiac Diagnostic Services and Patient Care Systems. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.
- Lead product lifecycle initiatives across the Device Manager value stream
- Lead strategic planning and Operations support for Service and Repair
- Manage and lead cross functional projects supporting released product initiatives
- Provide prioritization and governance over released product engineering initiatives
- Execute tasks associated with hardware expansion programs
- Execute pre-established Operations strategies supporting the Device Manager value stream
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask critical questions
- Represent Operations during platform extended staff meetings
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in engineering or science discipline
- MBA or advanced degree
- 10+ years of experience working in medical device (highly regulated) environment
- 5+ years of working in Operations or Supply Chain
- Experience in SAP
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Demonstrated strong business acumen and planning
- Demonstrated excellent downward, lateral, and upward communication skills
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high degree of initiative and influential management skills
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects to completion
