We're committed to fostering personal and professional growth and excited to welcome a passionate software developer who shares our values.<br/></p><p><strong>About the role</strong><br/></p><p>We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to work on in-house product development with a complete scrum team. You will play an active role in shaping the product using the latest and best available tools, utilizing your proficiency in Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, and related technologies.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Design and develop top-notch solutions using Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, and related technologies.</li> <li>Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' requirements.</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring high-quality standards.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and team performance.</li> <li>Continuously improve your knowledge and skills, keeping up-to-date with modern backend technologies and development practices.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>For this role, you need to bring:</p><ul> <li>A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a software engineer and education in Computer Science or related field</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of OOP languages such as Java or Kotlin, ideally Kotlin</li> <li>Solid experience with SpringBoot or similar to implement microservices</li> <li>Familiarity with industry best practices for Web API design</li> <li>Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Azure, but GCP or AWS also welcomed)</li> <li>Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus but not mandatory</li> </ul><p>Bonus:</p><ul> <li>Prior experience in creating microservices using Kotlin and deploying them regularly to a Kubernetes cluster.</li> <li>Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm</li> <li>Familiarity with service meshes like Istio</li> <li>Expertise in Web API design and development</li> <li>Active participation in the developer community</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry on an incredibly ambitious project to shape the ever-evolving financial sector.
