Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Lead Material Flow Specialist

  • Develop MFT’s to reach the level of lead – always have a trained backup, don’t be a gatekeeper or keyholder.

• Communicate effectively with other departments and leaders
  • Give regular updates on daily projects and tasks
  • Complete passdowns every day
  • Check in with production counterparts for needs/issues
  • Ability to communicate with leadership any issues or support needed

 

• Have advanced Sortly knowledge
  • Understanding of Sortly filing process and ability to train others
  • Ability to create inventory (finished goods, new raw material)
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and teach others how to do the same

 

• Deliver results
  • Ability to create a safe culture on their shift and drive processes to decrease number of incidents
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and assign them to the team
  • Manage high-flow work areas ensuring task completion and keeping up with production needs
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an ever-changing dynamic environment.

Applicants Must

• Have a passing recommendation from their direct supervisor
• Be committed to safety above all
• Be a full-time employee of Material Flow Team-What if they come from Production
• Have no written warnings within the last 90 days
• Have 4 or less attendance points
• Demonstrate the ability to perform the duties as outlined in the job description above

 

We Prefer Candidates Have

• Experience in the processes that they will be lead of
• 90+ days experience within Redwood
• Demonstrated leadership experience or ability

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
