State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

$92,154 to $174,681  (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$83,776 to $158,801 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$75,399 to $142,921  (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

 

Position Summary:The primary job function is responsibility for leading a team that understands, evaluates and tests new or modified software programs to verify that they meet specified requirements and conform to organizational standards. In addition, they will coach, mentor, direct work and manage performance of staff.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise a team of technical specialists. Manage staff performance, talent development, recruitment and retention of top talent; Resolves staff issues
• Review and obtain a detailed understanding of the project scope, requirements, and design in order to utilize the appropriate test method and strategy to test against them
• Develop reusable test patterns, strategies and plans
• Translate business requirements to specific, unambiguous and complete functional requirements that will be used to develop test cases testing application changes and impacts
• Executes test cases and logs results and defects
• Collaborates with project team on reviews, reports and communication of status updates
• Other functions may be assigned

Qualifications

Education:

•  Bachelor’s degree required in computer science or related field

Experience:

• 4-5 years of related experience in QA
• 1-2 years in the capacity of a Team Lead or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Supervisory or management experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Strong technical knowledge in Java, Selenium, TestNG, Python
• Proficiency in database management tool.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub, and Test Management tools is a plus.
