Position Overview

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (“Illinois EPA”) is seeking a highly qualified individual with a strong background in the Illinois Environmental Protection Act ("Act") and associated land regulations to serve as a Senior Public Service Administrator, Option 4, Northwest Region Field Operations Manager, in the Bureau of Land/Land Pollution Control.  The successful candidate will plan and direct the activities of FOS staff in the Region locations of Peoria and Rockford

This individual will be responsible for managing the everyday activities of the region including inspection and enforcement of sites and assisting other programs in the Bureau of Land.  The successful candidate will set priorities for the region and ensure activities are consistent with State and Federal regulations.
