T-Mobile’s Federal Regulatory Affairs team is looking for a sharp, strategic, and technically fluent attorney to join as Senior Corporate Counsel. This is a high-visibility role that requires you to translate complex wireless and emerging technology concepts into compelling policy arguments.This position centers on effective advocacy: understanding T-Mobile's technology and services, combining data with deep knowledge of the law to create persuasive arguments, and presenting the company's viewpoint crisply while leveraging your knowledge of and relationship with key decisionmakers.
Although the position will be responsible for a defined portfolio of specific issue areas, the full scope of responsibilities may be broadened to include additional issue areas that align with individual experience and demonstrated capabilities.
What you’ll do in your role:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on several high-impact issues. Experience with interconnection, wholesale access, and network interoperability obligations preferred.
- Advocate before federal regulators, principally the FCC, on your assigned issue areas.
- Draft internal legal memoranda, strategy briefs, and regulatory filings to support company advocacy and positioning.
- Direct and manage law firm and consultant work streams within your issue areas.
- Monitor, review, and synthesize regulatory filings, coalition positions, and agency activity into actionable internal guidance.
- Collaborate across legal, government affairs, and operations teams to ensure cohesive regulatory messaging and accurate representation of T-Mobile’s technology and services.
The experience you’ll bring:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5-15 years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on federal telecommunications law, FCC regulatory work, or public policy.
- Direct experience interacting with the FCC is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical subject matter into persuasive policy and legal arguments
- Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills—able to translate regulatory complexity into business-relevant insights.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- At least 18 years of age

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
