What are we looking for?

SentinelOne is looking for a Senior Director, Product & Business Operations to partner with the Product & Technology leadership team.  You will ensure that our product strategy aligns with business and product goals  and objectives. Trust is a fundamental value at SentinelOne, and your role embodies this every day as we work together to build secure, high scale products to defeat every attack. This is a remote, full time position, open to anyone living in the US. 

What will you do? 

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the product & business operations team.
  • Develop processes and embed best practices for product planning and the product lifecycle throughout SentinelOne.
  • Oversee processes such as, new product introduction, product feature request and software capitalization. Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement of processes. Partner with tools teams to scale usage, efficiency, efficacy and improve the user experience of tools used.   
  • Continue to build out the operating cadence for the Product & Technology organization which includes quarterly business reviews, operational reviews, key organizational meetings, etc.
  • Create the Product & Technology communication strategy for internal communication. The communications strategy should aim to align the organization on a common operational cadence, improve productivity, awareness of new initiatives and decisions, etc.  
  • Build new processes as needed to scale the organization’s capacity, efficiency and efficacy.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • 10+ years experience working in enterprise software companies in product-focused cross-functional program management or operational roles.  SaaS company experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong operational and program management experience.  Experience in a product or R&D organization is preferred.
  • Experienced at managing diverse stakeholder expectations, with a proven track record of making informed decisions and standing firm when necessary to drive success.
  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences.
  • Direct experience leading the implementation and fine-tuning of strategic planning frameworks, preferably at multiple companies of different sizes and scales.
  • Deep people management expertise with a history of building strong teams and individual players in multiple locations around the world. 
  • Conversant in financial planning concepts and patterns. 
  • Active curiosity and willingness to admit unfamiliarity while learning quickly on the job. 
  • Experience building processes and initiatives from scratch or taking over existing efforts within globally distributed organizations.
