 Technology Analyst Micro-Intern

Duration: 1 month internship with the opportunity to extend to an additional 4 months, based on performance and availability. The position will start July 7th and will require the candidate to work fulltime (40 hours a week) and onsite at our Key Tower location in downtown Cleveland.

What does the Internship Offer

The Technology Analyst Intern position with training will provide support for all employees at KeyBank, and is responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction, and continuous service delivery demands. Support in this position includes the deployment of IT assets to KeyBank employees, providing deskside computer hardware and software support. Technician will work directly with various lines of business across the bank.

Responsibilities include imaging, configuration, installation and troubleshooting of personal computers and software. This position requires technical skills, analysis, and excellent communication skills.

  • Enterprise Data and Information Management, enabling transformation of customer and market data into valuable insights and analytics
  • Enterprise Operations, spanning Origination through Default Management (1.1 million loans worth $82 billion); Deposit Operations (5 million client accounts); ACH, Wire & Check Payment Operations ($400 billion monthly), Treasury Operations
  • Enterprise Security, including Tech Risk Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Fraud Detection/Management, BSA/AML Operations and Physical Security

Responsibilities:

  • Imaging and Preparation: Image and configure laptops, desktops, and other equipment (including monitors, card readers, and accessories) for use by KeyBank employees based on individual assignments.
  • Safe Packing and Shipping: Ensure safe packaging and shipping of devices to various domestic and international addresses.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage KeyBank’s inventory of equipment, ensuring accurate records.
  • Equipment Processing: Process returned equipment, preparing it for future use.

Key Objectives:

  • Enhance Productivity: Maximize KeyBank’s employee productivity by delivering devices and services that provide secure and seamless access to Key’s data and services.
  • Windows Imaging: Image Windows laptops and desktops to replace non-compliant Windows 11 devices.
  • Hardware Inventory: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all hardware equipment and devices.

Required Qualifications

  • ·Enrolled in Computer Science and/or business course work Or already holding a degree in computer science and/or business or, or the work experience equivalent.
  • · Work within a customer oriented, positive team environment. Great face forward customer service ability.
  • · Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for communications with technical and non-technical staff.
