This is a long-term opportunity within a busy hospital setting, focusing on accuracy checking and supporting ward and outpatient pharmacy services. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing processes, supporting both ward-based activity and outpatient services.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform final accuracy checking of prescriptions for ward and outpatient services.</li> <li>Support medicines supply and dispensing processes.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with SOPs, governance, and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Contribute to maintaining efficient workflow within the pharmacy department.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).</li> <li>Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT) qualification (essential).</li> <li>Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience in ward and/or outpatient dispensary settings desirable.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why Choose Pulse?</strong></p> <p>From the moment you register with Pulse, our focus is entirely on you.
