Job Description

Our mission at Digital Learning Hub is to constantly innovate and produce highest quality learning content for our organization. The graphic designer will be responsible for the design and the development of digital learning content. As a graphic designer, you will take ownership of the visual design and overall visual experience of our contents that may come in different forms, for example, videos or e-courses. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts, guidelines and also cooperate with customers, SMEs and team members during the production to bring the best out of the projects. You will apply different design technics and methods, such as vector graphic, photo based graphic and illustration, video making and editing. The graphic designer must follow the branding guidelines of our company, that are available on our site. In this role, the designer should also look for the innovative ideas and actual trends in graphic design and apply them to DLH’s products.

Key accountabilities

• Consultative approach to graphic design
• Preparation of concepts and moodboards according to customer requirements
• Application of agreed graphical concept and style in product
• Plan and deliver design elements, eg. banners, buttons, illustrations, infographics, diagrams, text bubbles, backgrounds, intros and outros, etc.
• Custom design new layouts of learning contents
• Make audio and video recordings
• Make video concepts, prepare storyboards
• Postproduction of videos by using some tools (Camtasia, Premier Pro, After Effects, iMovie…).
• Create animation videos by using some tool (Vyond, Adobe tools)

General tasks:

• Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, subject matter experts, and customers.
• Working effectively with project plans, project resources, capacity plans and other project related documentation.
• Acting assertively, constructively and proactively in team to contribute to achieving personal and team goals.
• Constantly seeking and adopting new and innovative methods and trends in graphic design.
• Meeting the scope of the projects, products, budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in graphical design or similar visual design field (at least BA)
• At least 3 years of professional experience as graphic designer in professional or corporate environment with a proven track record of success in creating compelling visual designs that effectively communicate complex concepts.
• Experience in independently managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Experience with design principles and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Passion for creative excellence, love for design and follower of design and branding trends
• Strong portfolio that includes a collection of projects that showcase your capability in design across different media
• Excellent knowledge of visual design for web
• An eye for typography and design principles
• Open and ready for an environment of direct feedback
• Independent, flexible and able to work with different teams
• Enthusiastic about taking on new challenges proactively
• Customer centricity
• Fluent in English (at least B2+)
