Dutch-speaking Production Graphic Designer

Do you thrive when design work is structured, hands-on, and production-driven? We’re looking for a Dutch-speaking graphic designer to help us design and produce visuals for our rental products – primarily trailers and cargo bikes. 

About Freetrailer 

Freetrailer was founded in 2004 and is a Danish pioneer within the sharing economy. We work with major partners such as IKEA and serve more than a million users each year across 1,600+ locations in Scandinavia, Germany and the Netherlands. 

Your role 

As our Production Graphic Designer, you’ll support the daily production of designs for our physical rental products. This role is not about big creative concepts – it’s about being organized, detail-oriented, and fast in production, while making sure everything follows our brand and technical requirements. 

A big part of the role is also clear communication with internal and external stakeholders, to collect input, ensure approvals, and keep production moving. 

Main focus areas 

• Trailer and cargo bike designs: adapting partner advertising and Freetrailer branding to existing templates and guidelines, delivering production-ready exports 

• Dutch communication: proofreading and adapting layouts for Dutch assets (and sometimes other languages) 

Responsibilities 

• Create and adapt production-ready designs for trailers and cargo bikes  

• Ensure correct formats and output specs for production 

• Maintain structure and overview across tasks, versions, and approvals 

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (primarily via email) to collect logos/copy, clarify questions, and secure approvals 

• Translate briefs into efficient, relevant visual solutions within brand guidelines 

• Support smaller ad-hoc tasks when needed (light digital/print assets) 

We’re looking for someone who 

• Has 1–3 years of experience in graphic design or is newly graduated with strong skills 

• Enjoys production workflows, checklists, and getting details right 

• Is comfortable working with fixed frameworks/templates and brand guidelines 

• Has strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign is key – plus Photoshop) 

• Understands print production and how to deliver correct files 

• Is confident communicating with stakeholders and likes to keep things moving 

• Speaks and writes Dutch (required) and is comfortable working in English or Danish 

• Is reliable, proactive, and easy to work with 

Bonus (not required): experience with multilingual production
